I just got it with a bundle, I love that it's not as bulky as some apps [cough]billings[cough].

Having used it a bit, but not much I have a few thoughts (also, if any of these features are already in OTJ, let me know, I do often suffer from pebcak).

Feature requests:
1. Default rates? It would be really handy if I could set default rates / info for what I do (Design vs. IT support)
2. Ability to add emails (as a link to the email, not just the subject line text as it shows up now) to the notes field of a project.
2a, while I'm thinking about it, linking to project files would be cool.

I'm sure more will come to me, but for now those are my observations. I'm a new user, so until I get some experience with it I suppose these should be taken lightly as whims really.

Thanks for a great tool!

    Hi Aaron,

Thanks! Our goal with On The Job is to keep it easy to use while still being powerful enough to be used by professionals, so I'm glad you're not finding it too bulky.

While you can set a default hourly rate per client, you're right that you can not set up "saved job items" to quickly add new pre-set-up items, although that it something that we do want to add in the future.

When you say adding emails and links to project files - do you mean basically some area within a job or job item that would let you keep aliases to these items on your hard drive? I can certainly see that being useful.

    Thanks for the thoughts!
