Per this discussion below...I would like to do the same thing. But how do I create a "credit" or discount amount? I tried $-100 and ($100). Neither work. It changes it to a positive $100.

Thx,
Jeff K

On occasion I discount jobs for clients. I would like the invoice to show the full price/value for the work and another line that I can list the discount in percentage or as a numerical discount. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Dan

There is no separate "discount" section you can add a discount amount to, but you should be able to apply a discount by adding a Fixed Cost item to the job in question. Perhaps not ideal as it would require a manual calculation, but hopefully it at least makes it possible.

Fixed it myself! Looks like you need to type ($100). Thx anyways! Perhaps this thread will help someone else.

    Hi Jeff,

I just wanted to mention: it should also work if you just type "-100" or something along those lines, leaving out the currency symbol altogether.
