I was just wondering why On The Job has never worked on my Macbook Pro with Intel Processor since I bought it. I figured it might be fixed with an update, but none has come. The app starts fine and all is well, at least until I press anything. If I try to add a job or a time, it will instantly lock up and I will have to force quit it. Please help, I really need to use this app to keep track of my hours.

    Hi Josh,

I'm not sure offhand what might be happening here, I don't believe I have seen this problem before.

Does a crash log come up at any time?

Can you open your Console application (located in the Utilities folder in your Applications folder) and see if anything related to On The Job is printed out around the time that the freeze occurs?

Well, strangely, opening Console seemed to fix it. I don't know why, but after I opened Console, the app didn't lock up and is running perfectly now. I think it had something to do with the menubar icon, because it never has shown up until now. Thanks fo inadvertently fixing my problem (or maybe that was you intention all along), it works great!

Glad to hear it's working, but that is very mysterious! If you notice anything else strange happening please let me know. If there is a bug there I'd like to get it fixed.
