Is there a way to get a basic report on jobs from a certain time period?

    Hello,

The only way to do this at present would be to create the jobs and generate an invoice for them. In the future we plan to introduce better reporting features, so it's good to know that you'd be interested in limiting what you see to particular jobs.

New customer here, but just wanted to add a +1 for reporting features.

Some reports I'd be keen to see or build are taxes billed in a time period, total billed and unbilled for a specific client within a time period, and total revenue for a given period.

The search interface is a nice approach, and seems like it could be a cornerstone of a reporting feature set.

Keep up the good work Dan.

+1 here too. I just switched over from 'OfficeTime' because it was just ugly -- On the Job is how a mac app should look and feel. But OfficeTime had some reporting features I really liked, and I depended on the ability to check how many hours I've worked in the day. If I could quickly find that out without having to make an invoice (and major bonus points if I could put the amount of time I've been working all day in the menu bar icon!), I'd be a happy camper.

Also would love to see fast job switching from the menu bar!

(Esssentially what I'm asking for is better support for people who go back and forth between clients all day. The app is a little clumsy in that respect).

My clients like weekly status reports of the billing hours. Please add this feature, creating an invoice for this is not a workable solution.

    Thanks,
