Hi, I've been using On The Job on my desktop for a while. It's a neat application and a natural for smartphones, given its simplicity. Are you planning on releasing an iphone version in the near future?

Thanks

I've been using On The Job for two years now and love the program. It would make it complete if I could use it while im mobile. So either a Ipad or an Iphone version would be more than perfect!

    Thanks, Jacob Hansen

Thanks for the requests! All I can say is that at this point is that we would also love to have an iPhone version, but we have not made any announcements at this time.

    Overflow is great.オーバーフローは素晴らしい。
I want the iPad version .私はiPadバージョンがほしい。
iPad is hard to find applications.iPadはアプリが探しにくいです。
Applications to be divided in categories is important.アプリをけテゴリーの分けることは重要です。
That way, I think that is very convenient.それは大変便利です。

Would be great; unfortunately having to consider Billings right now because of that :/

Been using On The Job for some time now. Really like it but like others have said, it really is a let down that there is no companion iPhone app. I too am having to consider wether to wait it out with On The Job or move over to Billings.

Some note that its coming or any sort of confirmation either way would really help.

Like many others, we have all been requesting an iPhone version for a couple of years, and there is still, no confirmation whatsoever from Dan that:

    a) It's a priority
    b) It's on the roadmap
    c) Whether it will ever happen, or if we should just jump ship to a competing product

Instead, we get the same vague response, always well-intentioned I'm sure. But it's truly unfortunate as there is nothing like On The Job out there apart from Billings, which I believe is more expensive than OTJ.

Stunt Software is a great company, and there's a great video featuring Dan on the Blog page, & I would encourage anyone to watch it. It's easy to see why his company has been successful, he's a talented guy, but they are still lacking on the iOS front in a big way. And this is now not months, but years after most competitors have equivalent representation in iTunes for iPhone and iPad. This likely already has resulted in a loss of revenue for Stunt, and I just don't see why they can't do it.

If it's not having the time to do it, contract it out and modify the code to your liking when you get it back.

Dan, we love your programs, I use Overflow every single day, and I use On The Job exclusively for billing. We all want this to evolve, can you just let us know if that is going to happen? That's all we ask.

    Andrew,

Thanks for the words of encouragement!

My recommendation is always to purchase what will fit your needs based on what's currently available and not what might be in the future. I understand that there is a big interest in an iPhone companion, but I really don't want to make any public comments on what or what not might be available in the future. I've learned through experience that it often leads to disappointment. So, I'm not attempting to be vague on purpose, it's just a reality of being a small software shop that future plans are often uncertain.

I have been using your software for about a year and I really like it. But I also would love to see an iPhone app. I remember reading some post on this forum about a year ago. I hope it'll happen one day.
    Thanks

I just moved to Billings Pro... for fuc&s sake... Billings is the most complex, confusing POS I've ever had the displeasure of using... unfortunately I need the ability to keep time using my iPhone on the go... so, good bye "On the Job". I loved you while I could... you'll be missed...
