New Client Problem
I'm having some problems when adding a new client using the address book. Sometimes it works fine. Other times the name remains as "New Client" and the address and image are taken from the address book. When this happens I often try and change to a different person which again sometimes works and sometimes doesnt. When it doesnt work any of the properties can remain unchanged.

Hi John,
In the second case, any information that the new contact you are selecting does not contain will not be changed. I will log this as a bug since that info should really be blanked out.
I can't seem to reproduce the first problem, but perhaps it could be related? Are you sure that the contact you are picking has name and address information?

Hi Dan,
Here's what I do to recreate it. Press the '+' button and select 'New Client' from the list. Note at this point a new client appears and 'New Client' has focus. Immediately press the address book button and select a contact. All appears fine until you change the focus so if I press the TAB key or select say the mileage rate then the name will revert back to 'New Client'. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that the new client in the client list visually appears to remain in edit mode?

John,
Ah yes, it definitely does. That field should loose focus when the address book icon is clicked, as it is now it's being set again when the field looses focus which causes the name to be reset.
Thanks for the clarification!

Hi Dan,
No problem, only too happy to help out if I can.

There still seems to be something not quite right in this area. I just added a new client by clicking on the addressbook button. I selected my client and all was well. Then I clicked on another of my clients to check something. The new client name was changed back to New Client. I got round this by selecting the new client again from the addressbook and tabbing out of the control this time which seems to be the solution.

I see that the previous question has not been answered, but still I have also a problem with a new client. In your screen shots I see company names as a client.
But when I put in a company from the Address Book as a client the Persons name appears as Client? I do not see how I can change that.
