Rounding each timing session (not just each job item)?
On The Job looks like it'd almost be perfect for me, with one tiny exception: I'd love to be able to round not just job items to the next increment, but each individual timing session. Is this possible right now? If not, is it on the horizon?
Thanks, and congrats on a fantastic app.

Yeah this would be nice. Currently I just add a new time item each time.
if added, it would be nice if it were either global, or have the option to apply it to a specific Job.

My current timer, OfficeTime does provide per-session rounding, but it's lacking in many other ways. Would love to make the switch to On The Job, but having to pull up the app and create a new job item each time I want to start a timer would be more tedious than dealing with my OfficeTime gripes.

Agreed. In fact I was just thinking about this the other day, as I've recently switched to billing per session & rounding up as opposed to incremental timing (hence the workaround above).

Interesting - thanks for the feedback. This is certainly something we can consider for the future.

I'd love to buy an OTJ license if/when you implement that feature. Do you have RSS feeds for your releases, so I can stay up-to-date with them? (BTW, I tried checking out the release notes http://stuntsoftware.com/onthejob/changes.html for 3.0.1 from the blog post about it, but I got a 404-type error. I was hoping there might be a catagory-specific RSS feed for OTJ releases on your blog, but I couldn't find one.)
Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for letting me know about that link - it should be fixed now.
There is not a specific On The Job Update RSS feed currently, but that's not a bad idea!

If you do create a specific OTJ RSS feed, if possible please post a comment here about it, so I'll be in the loop. Thank you!

I'll be sure to post here when we get that up!

Is this feature currently on the horizon (rounding each session time)? This is the only feature your software is missing for my needs.

Doug,
I can't really comment on upcoming features as they those plans are always subject to change. I can say that it will not be added in the very near future.
