Hi,
Probably the best way to handle this would be to add a Fixed Cost item to the job you create the invoice from with a negative value. In the future we're hoping to add a dedicated feature allowing for discounts, as this does seem to be a common problem.

Yeah I want to see this added as well as an actual feature.

I second this! I want a discount button! M

Just as a question open to everyone: does it make more sense to have discounts appear before or after taxes on the invoice?

The obvious answer would be: have it as an option.

Agreed. I would appreciate the ability to discount before OR after tax. However, if I was forced to choose it would be before.

I third that! Having a discount button would be a great feature! Be sure to have the option of having a set price discount ($100 for example), or a percentage (IE: 10% off). It isn't mandatory to have this feature, but it would be one less step for the user!

Yes please!
Now when I add a negative value in the fixed cost field it shows inbetween ( ). This is not accepted as a negative value in my country, I prefer to have it with a minus (-) sign in front of the value

Dries, good to know - that should at least be a preference I'm thinking.

Another request for a minus sign over the brackets.. would be more clear to clients

So... Is it for this year?

I'm using the trail version and the lack of a clear discount feature is proving problematic.
Will it happen this year? That would be a win.

Hello,
Thanks for the requests - as a rule we don't talk publicly about future features, but your input is definitely being heard!
