On the Job for iPad?
Hello, I currently use On the Job on my mac and love the ease of use in calculating costs, time, and putting it all onto our invoice. My question is whether or not we can see this great app for the iPad as my customers and myself love that I use a paperless invoice system. On my mac we just save invoice and email it to the client and for verification we have them send us a signature email as a reply. Maybe if one does get developed for the iPad or iPhone you could set it up to detect printers on the network and if not it could maybe have a "add to mail" option to get it to other people. Just a few thoughts and I look forward to hearing about future updates.

I too would love this on the iPad. I've been using Freshbooks for a long time, but i love this native mac app. It would be awesome to have it on my iPad all the time, to be able to log time and generate invoices on the fly (without the burden of my MBP).
You have a bunch of great software! Thanks!!

Doing an iPad version of On The Job is something that we would love to do - and something we are looking at for the future.
So far printing would unfortunately not be possible as far as I understand, but even being able to email invoices onsite would be pretty nice.
Thanks for the encouragement!

I have an ipad, iphone, macbookpro, etc.....
Printing isn't an issue, all you do is have an app on the device that syncs to the desktop app, you create an invoice and print.
The ipad / iphone is for remote time tracking, not for the final product.
I'm shopping around and so far I like the UI of OTJob.

I'm okay with not being able to print from the iPad... just being able to sync, access and manage the software (On the Job), would be a huge time saver. Would happily pay any fee! =o)

I was looking to see if I could find any information on whether On the Job was coming to iPad and I found this forum. I too would love to see it happen! And with 4.2 coming out, printing would definitely be possible! Please work on an iPad version. Would gladly pay $10 for it!

Hi Guys,
are there any updates on if/when you will be doing something with the iOS platform and On The Job? I'm on the cusp of switching to another piece of software as the lack of access on my iPad is driving me nuts...
Cheers
Paul

Hi Guys,
Thanks for all the encouragement and support!
Just for the record, we still have no public plans for an iOS version of On The Job.

Add my two ¢ to this discussion. Both an iPhone and iPad app would make On The Job even better, and I, for one, would be willing to pay for them.

This is a topic bump. Are there any plans for an iPhone/iPad version of On The Job. I don't care about printing (which can be addressed by syncing iOS device data back to the Mothership), but I DO care about the local ability to track time and activities while traveling to/from or working at various clients sites during the day. Please advise, and I'm in the process of decision-making for our firm. THANKS!
