Overflow Mobile?
Another idea I ran by the dev via Twitter: Overflow Mobile
The idea would be for the Overflow desktop app to have an optional server running in the background that let you access your Overflow items via an iPhone.
I know it sounds kind of weird, but there are times when I want to have an app running that isn't, usually another iPhone server app (Air Video in this case) that I don't want to run all the time, but if I am out and about I need it to be on.
The VNC app I use (RemoteTap) does have an application launcher, but it pulls every single app i the App folder on the Mac. Remote Jr. does the same.
I figure since Overflow is probably a login item for most of us, it would be great to have a mobile companion. It would need to work over 3G for it to be most useful, and of course on the local network.
I realize this is a super niche idea, but throwing it out there to see if there's any other interest in it.

I think it would be interesting, but you're right, it would be a very niche market so I'm not sure if we could justify the time it would take to develop. Thanks for the idea though - I could see it being a hobby project done on the side just for interest's sake.

Agreed, this is totally a "rainy-day" suggestion.
