Feature Request: option to skip fadein animation
Pretty self explanatory - while I love the quick fadein/fadeout, it can start to feel sluggish in some circumstances, either due to machine performance, or constant use of Overlay. :D
Spotlight helps ameliorate perceived lag by showing the input window instantly, and only fading when hiding.
Alfred gives the option to turn fading on or off globally (fadein and fadeout are either both on or both off).
Could Overflow add a preference for something similar? Either the speed of the fadein and fadeout animations, or simply toggling it them on or off?
Thanks for the terrific app; I'm really loving my less cluttered dock, and newly organised application system!

Hello,
In Overflow's preferences, there is a slider where you can set the fade duration. Moving the slider to the shortest possible setting will nearly eliminate the fade time.
I hope that helps!

Haha! Not sure how I missed that, I'm terribly sorry! Much better now, though I still maintain that an option to turn fading completely off might be nice as well. All the same, thanks for pointing out the (obvious) fade length control. :D

It's a good point - you can't currently turn it completely off. I also like the idea of the fade-out being slower than the fade-in.
