Multiple pages

Have you considered giving Overflow multiple pages, in the fashion of Launchpad? This would allow us to devote separate pages to separate categories (one for URLs, one for utilities, etc.)

    Hello,

Overflow does have categories, which are basically separate pages. Is the current functionality not sufficient for what you need?

I think there are two problems with Categories: a.) the evident inability to move an item from one Category to another, and b.) the necessity of making a trip to a dock or menubar icon to change between categories. I would much prefer an implementation whereby I could do this without having to take my hands off the keyboard. I was thinking that a more explicitly paged implemation might solve these issues.

    Thanks for answering!

    Hi Dana,

To move an item from one category to another, just go into edit mode, then drag the item to the name of the new category. If you pause there for a moment, that category will open, allowing you to more precisely drop the item.

To switch between categories from the keyboard, hold down command, and press either the up or down arrow to cycle, or a number key to jump to a specific category.

    I hope that helps!
